In 2016 and 2017, yes, I believe Penn State has been the better team. Ohio State Total points in last 4 losses: 80 points (average of 20 per game) Total losses in last 2 years: 4 Conference Championships in last 2 years: 1 NY6 bowl wins in the last 2 years: 1 2018 recruiting rank: 2 Penn State Total points in last 5 losses: 49 (average of 9.8 per game) Total losses in last 2 years: 5 Conference Championships in last 2 years: 1 NY6 bowl wins in the last 2 years: 1 2018 recruiting rank: 5 As for the age of LJ, I was speaking in regards to his current situation. Of course I respect what he has done in college football, everyone would. However, he is very close to the end of his career. And there have been multiple reports that his age has become a factor in several recruitment's. I am not trying to ruin the moment for a kid, but it is going to occur again very soon. Just wait. No debate here, never said there was. I spoke about the recent history, as well as the future. Penn State is there (if not better) and isn't going anywhere. Also, this “dominating” win over USC you keep talking about, is that the same game where you had only 13 first downs? And USC had 23? The same game you had 277 yards of offense to their 413? Over 400 yards of offense allowed, and you are bragging about defense? Darnold had 356 yards passing against Ohio State, his 3rd highest output of the entire season. Not to mention the (2017) Ohio State defense gave up 490 yards to Oklahoma at home this year. That isn't so bad, right? I mean, its a CFP team with a Heisman winning QB. But, what about the 487 yards given up to Iowa? I am guessing LJ being past his prime had nothing to do with giving up 243 rushing yards to Iowa (Penn State gave up 82)?
