SBS ProTouring Brake Pads

I put these on over the weekend, they seem pretty nice. They didn't sqeak at all in the begining, but now they sqeak so freakin loud when i come to a stop...it's so embarassing.

Do I have to break the pads in somehow? Or is it always going to sqeak?

Try this break-in procedure and enjoy quiet brake pads.

so basically i need to heat up the brake pads.

yes, but in a controlled fashion.

The thermal cycling is what beds the pads and produces quiet stops. I did not properly bed my factory pads and they would squeak just as you describe. A few repeated stops later and they do not squeak at all.
