Wow :eek:, I never knew exceeding the posted speed limit by 31 mph results in revocation of the Driver's License in the state of New York. All I heard from family was that NY is pretty lenient on having points on a driving record. I say this because my cousin came from NY to CA in order to receive his Class A Commerical License. He liked CA so much better than NY, he never went back and forced his wife to move out here. However, he said he'll transfer his license to NY because of the lenient 'point' system. In CA, if a Class A holder recieves any moving violation (even if they're driving a car instead of a Semi), the ticket can never be cleared from the record. And I beleive 6 points (3-4 tickets) results in a revocation of the license. But in NY, I heard they allow up to 30 points on the driving record and tickets can be cleared regardless of License class ?
