Lots happened in the last few years. Got married, changed jobs, moved 2,500 miles, sold a house, bought a house, had an apartment, yikes. Oh, amd 2020.

Finally settled in so nows the time to pull this pile of crap apart and fix it once and prolly not for long.

Things to fix :

Rear Pinion Seal
Runs Rich at WOT- professional opinion is shitty 20 year old injectors : remove and clean
New Tires for the Chrome Wheels
Exhaust leak on the passenger side

SC is free but weights a hundred damn pounds. Gonna use the crane to hoist it up this weekend.

I have Bassani Mid Length Headers, do I use there gaskets or will an OEM Ford one work?

It's criminal how neglected that car is, but sometimes life gets in the way. Glad you finally have time to work in it.

Is that a 2.2KB?

Most people recommend OEM style multi layer steel (MLS) gaskets for headers, all the rest will blow out eventually. Not sure how much the Ford gaskets are but I bought Mahle MLS gaskets on Rock Auto for cheap. They look just like OEM.

You can't use OEM gaskets with Bassanis. You need the gaskets you listed. There are reliefs cut into the header that the gaskets set into. Use some orange RTV with the gaskets and you'll be fine.

Rtv both sides or just the header side?

Looking at those "better days" photos, I hope the paint is better than it looks in your garage photo. Keep us posted on your BIG project to bring it back to a normal life.

Where's that guy talking about wanting to install a KB 2.2?

Don't do it, it's a trap!!!

Had to pull it complete and the half way separate the top and bottom to get that last ****ing injector.

Truly the work of Satan.

Let me know if anything jumps out

Slow week, still need to send the injectors out for clean and test. I have some stereo harness stuff on order, decided to those in my JDM Mini-Disk player.

Changing up the pcv system since I had a quart of oil in the blower, lower intake and cooler.
Just going to run the two valve covers to a catch can with filter on top.
