Said to have 500HP and an intake with twin-80mm throttle bodies on its Gen 4 Coyote (with cylinder deactivation and a locked ECU).

Could be worse.

The full-body pics of the car don't look bad at all.

That said, I hate the rear end that reminds me of a Camaro.

In for more details on the mechanics of it.

the rear, especially that last photo, definitely has some Camaro in there

overall I like it.

A refresh of the current car, no matter how Ford frames "All New". Nothing earth shattering. Hard to justify a completely new, ICE optimized platform for such low volumes.

The Hp is nice, but it looks like it comes with some not so great tradeoffs. One things for sure, this WILL be the last Mustang of it's kind.

When we say "locked" ECU, does that mean 100% un-crackable? Are you looking at buying/tuning a separate ECU or Piggyback only workaround? Over the air updates could certainly cause issues. It would suck driving a tuned car and all of the sudden some update is pushed out, setting off a bunch of CEL. Or send back a notification to Ford that the car has been altered.

ya thats a big concern on the new stuff. I think Livernoise are the only ones selling tuners for some of the F150s that are encrypted and its been slow going...pricing definitely reflects that. Then obviously Roush and Whipple will be able to have tunes for their blower kits
