Anyone who wants to reduce spongyiness/travel a bit, I'd get rid of the 5/16 rubber pad that is inside the booster, under the booster rod.

I would recommend not to cheap out on rotors. The factory GT500 front rotors do the job but are heavy. They weight about 37 lbs a piece. I would invest in a 2 piece rotor.

old article but have been thinking of doing this upgrade and buying the parts piecemeal.

Its my understanding that all you need is the 6 piston brembo from a 13-14 GT500, the 15 inch rotor and the brake lines.

First time in researching this about possible replacing and upgrading the master cyclinder

I have a cheap pair of Brembo GT500 calipers. PM me if interested.

I converted to the 6 piston front, 4 piston rear Wilwood kit. Pricier and yes the rear axles had to come out. The Wilwood fronts were lighter than the Bembo version at the time. Lines were upgraded to SS.

There was a noticeable difference in stopping performance of the car with the changeover from 4 piston to 6 piston.
