When ZOMBEAST said he was no longer going to offer these, I spoke directly to him and obtained his permission to reproduce this awesome product and continue offering it to the Mustang community.

Looking to run a wider rear wheel on your S197 Mustang to put more rubber on the road for your high horsepower ride? Here is your solution. These Bumpstop Relocation Brackets allow you to remove the rear wheel well bumpstop brackets and relocate the rubber bumpstop directly under the framerail. This adds approximately 2″ of space in the rear wheel well. Some have been able to run rear wheels as wide as 12″s with a 325 series rear tire after this conversion!

These brackets are made out of Billet Aluminum with stainless steel hardware. No painting is required although we offer them powder coated for a more finished look.

Application:
- 2005 to Present S197 Mustang with solid rear 8.8 rear axles

Material:
- Billet Aluminium

Finish:
- Raw or Powder Coated Satin Black

Price:
- Raw: $49.95 (plus shipping)
- Powder Coated: $54.95 (plus shipping)

These are always in stock and can be purchased directly off my website at: http://ccmustangbrackets.com/product/s197-bumpstop-relocation-brackets/

As always, my SVTP member discount applies to this product. To get the coupon code for my website, send me a PM.

My '08 is lowered in the rear with FRPP springs (1.25 or 1.5", I can't remember). I have just purchased a set of 11" wheels. Do I need these?

You may not depending on the wheel offset and how wide a tire you plan on running. Once you get you tires mounted, jack the car up while allowing the rear suspension fall as the car goes up. If the tire or wheel contacts the bumpstop bracket, it would be a good idea to get some.

I would say it is cheap insurance to ensure those new expensive meats don't get worn in strange places.

thanks I'll give it a try when my wheels show up. They look like quality parts. I didn't know you had a business - now, another sire to keep track off!!

Torqkjnky - just got my widened wheels and although I did purchase your brackets, I want to do the 'fit test' you mentioned above but am not sure how I raise the car while letting the suspension drop. what does that mean? Thanks.

Jack the car up by the two rear jacking points on the side of the car behind the rear door seam. As you jack it up, the rear suspension will start to drop as the body of the car comes up. As it it's dropping, check to see if the inside of the wheels contact the bumpstop bracket. Hope this helps.
