If any of you have driven in the rain you probably have rust on your back brakes like i do. It looks like crap. Have any of you been able to get rid of this? Please give some needed advice.

It doesn't go away after you drive it??? I use the $hit out of my brakes so maybe that is why the rust doesn't stay on mine. But yes, mine show surface rust after I wash the car.

I think he's talking about the small area near the hub that isn't swept by the pads.

you will need to go with different rotors to avoid the rust in the center of the rotor. Baer Eradispeed rotors for instance are zinc washed and don't rust.

Thanks for the info. How expensive are those rotors. One other thing, what type of cold air do you have?

I popped the wheels off, cleaned up the rusted areas and painted them to match the front rotors. I even did the edges which also will rust.

The first time you really get on the brakes your hard work will be burned away.

If you use the brakes hard the Zinc coating will burn off also.
