[QUOTE="wudy, post: 15891934, member: 76841"] This is one word I have never read on here, I'm second owner of my 04 and owned it since 08. When I got the car there was more surface rust then I had on my 89 that I traded for this. All of it was on the undercarriage. It wasn't much. Nothing a bit of scrubbing and elbow grease wouldn't take care of. But just the same, I hate rust. Plus I'm sure its in places I cant see or get too. I'm sure the original owner drove it when there was still salt on the roads from the winter... Jackass... However I do have one spot that ive been nursing every time I pop the hood. Its on the inner fender right in front of the hood strut. I grab some WD and give it a blast and a wipe. Its looks like spot weld splatter. Don't know why there is a spot weld here. Its like a spot weld gone wrong. The other side has no spot weld and is smooth and perfect. It hasn't gotten any worse but I'm sick of tending and looking at it. Does anybody else have something like this? Would love to get rid of it but don't know how to. If anybody has anything like this or any rust in bad spots post it up.
