Running without cats

Is it true that running an H or X pipe on a 98 Cobra will turn the check engine light on? Any way to keep it off. In Florida so I dont have to pass inspections.

Yes, with any off road pipe you will need Mil emliminators. The run about $70 I think. It will send the electrical signal back to the computer to turn off the light.

I ran across a site that tells you how to make your own MIL eliminaters for ALOT less than what you can buy them for.... if you're interested...

You can get a chip to turn them off or buy MIL's used from someone who bought a chip and didn't need them anymore.
