So my car is finally coming back together and with all of the modifications and relocation of things it doesn't kook like I will be able to run my front swaybar. I have a full MM front end. How loose will the ride be/feel? Not a corner carver but I still want to feel stable.
Anything I can do to help stabilize the front?
Thanks

I'll look next week when I pick it up but I believe it's the oil filter relocation lines and the 1" i/c lines from the under hood tank. I got real tight under there

I have a vert and pulled mine and my x-brace a LONG time ago. Ton of weight mods here. It's definitely a straight line car. With 18's and a spool it feels fine on hwy and decent in town

It's probably best to wait and see. I'm running an oil filter relocation and I don't have any clearance issues with the sway bar.

They must've run the coolant lines pretty funky to get into the sway bar.

So I got the car back and finally looked into this today. The sway bar is contacting the lower radiator hose. My cooling system is completely reconfigured so this is why. If there were a mount that didn't drop the bar down so far I would be fine. If it sat 1/2" closer to the frame I would be set. Are there any lower profile mounts? I know MM makes a relocation bracket that moves it 1" further forward but it doesn't look like that will fix my problem.

Can you post pictures?

I haven't seen anything that moves the sway bar closer to the body.

Steeda makes a kit for moving the sway bar away from the body. But I'm guessing that's not what you need.

Maybe you can make something from another year work. Or find a local machine shop to mill you up something similar.

In my opinion, very much so. Disconnecting from the oil cooler delete block is almost impossible with everything in the way. I struggled connecting the hose when I first dropped the engine in and nothing else was there.

Here is a pic with everything in place. You can see the swaybar pushing down on the lower radiator hose. I'm going to space it out 1" like the Steeda piece linked above would do, and see where everything lands. That may do the trick

Looking at that picture I think you can cut a piece of the hose out and splice in a long silicone joiner because they have a smaller O.D.

Shot in the dark here.... If you put shorter sway bar end links, this rotates the sway bar up, not sure if that is the direction you want to move it or not, but may offer more clearance to the rad hose.

Remove the end links, put weight on the a-arms, rotate the sway bar and see if it clears the rad hose before buying anything. You can measure the sway bar end link length and see if you can modify one or buy one the length you would need to work. Just an idea.

This is a good idea. I am already running the endless for lowered cars (4.5" vs the factory lenght of 5"). But it's worth a shot

And we are back! Bit the bullet and pulled off the lower hose, what a pain in the ass. We ro auto parts store and found one that had the correct bends and length. 4hrs later we are good. Factory sway bar mounts and endings and all is good. Now to break this bitch in! 2 years and a complete build later.

Much better idea.

Agree, just didn't feel like taking a coolant bath or returning the system. Oh well, it's all good now

I understand that.. but 4 hours is a lot less time than you'd have measuring for a custom sway bar, or cutting mounts, re-welding...etc.

Looking forward to seeing some videos!
