I keep hearing horror stories of these things ripping off the cars. I really don't want to run a turnbuckle setup on it to brace it if I don't have to. My buddy just lost his last week but happened driving through some flooded areas. What are you guys doing to brace these things?

Do a search. A guy made a aluminum mounting brace that looked like it would give some piece of mind of not failing

There have been a few coming off but when you think there are thousands out there why did those fail? I have been to Roush many times and talked to them about it. On a few they know there were not installed properly. They don't just bolt on, there is cutting involved on the install.

I did the install 3 years ago. My car has seen 130mph+ lots of times with no issues. I had the front off the car this year installing parts and saw nothing wrong with it

Maybe in Mexico going 150+ they could be seeing to much down force and pulling off
