To answer the diagonal bar question, it was really just preference and ease of welding. I follow a lot of rally racing and I've seen this design on some cars and really liked it. Also, the front roof bars will connect in the center where the rear diagonals meet and run to the front windshield bar on either side. Also, I will be adding A pillar support bars running from the driver side near the mounting plate up to the windshield and overhead bars. </li> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">I won't be using factory windows, but haven't decided whether or not to cut out the inner door frame at this time. These cars have an extremely rigid inner door bar from the factory that I wanted to leave in place.
