Here is the engine build
http://www.powerperformancenews.com...lletproof-gt500-methodically-and-on-a-budget/

We'll be doing dyno comparisons on a ported Trinity TVS with a 2.4/10 and swap on a Gen 3 VMP 2.65 with same boost (2.8/10 probably) and then swap on 2.4/10 for a overall power comparison. However, step 1 was new clutch from Centerforce and step 2 will be 3.08 gears for a better 4th gear pull on the dyno. Itll still go to 200mph lol

Step 1: XDS Centerforce

Good luck buddy!
What is the time frame?
I'm just breaking in my new clutch now.

The 2.65 literally just got powercoated so my clutch needed installed and I put in new 3.08s. I also need to do plug swap, oil change, clean and flow injectors, load new tune up from Lund, break in clutch, and then itll be ready. Could be 3 days from now or next week.

In for results. How long did you run that first Dyad? Worn out already?

I hear ya, the weather has been delaying me up here and breaking in the clutch is most important!

It's still very usable. Im sending it back to Ceterforce for inspection and itll be my back up clutch. This clutch is much more aggressive to handle the heavy weight and long gearing and crazy load I put on it. I also wanted a fresh clutch to do this test so there is no doubt the gains this blower is capable to make over a max effort trinity setup.

Can't wait for the results Justin, and are you going to run 3.08 gears at the 1/2 mile? Or just for 1 mile races.

I don't think I'll ever put a cage (199.9mph or faster) in this car and the car will do 215+in the mile. 3.08s keep me from revving my 4th gear the moon like 3.31s would in the 1/2

What pulley ratio on the 2.3?
I had 15% lower 2.5 upper and had similar boost drop of barely 19 down to low 15psi
Looking forward to the 2650 comparison.

His specs show a 10% IW and 2.39. He's spinning the blower about 1.8% higher than your combo. IW's 10% is actually about 12% overdrive.

The JDM 5.8 has an ATI, my stocker was IW. Both quality SFI units.
BPS recommended I stay with the 2.5 over my plans for the 2.4 upper. He said more heat than power. I can see the fall off in boost clearly shows the 2300 isn't keeping up with airflow demands.
This 2650 test on Justin's car will be telling, especially to me.
