I have a 2004 Mustang V6
I was planning to get some DD Fr500s for the rear. But my car is lowered about 1.75", and would this make a difference as to whether or not the DD will fit on the back?

You should be fine.My GT was that low and I had no problem and my Cobra is even lower and still no problem's.

I have the DD FR500s on the back of my 99 gt. The car has Eibach Sportline Springs with is lower than that drop. The 10.5" fits perfect in the rear as there is no rubbing. It also depends on what tire you run, im running nitto 315 Dr's which are slightly smaller than most 315s.
