But predator's and Revalution software work together.
And he should be laying some good #'s with his 03 Cobra!

Thanks for the insight, as I hope to own a predator soon, and when I install the pulley, X Pipe and catback I'll want a custom tune for it.

Rev Soft news is a little old now but the real question is why the hell would you sell an 03 Cobra and get a mach 1???

So please clear up my understanding.....Can Danny right now custom tune an 03 Cobra without a Chip? via reflashing the PCM with a custom tune by Predator or similar tool?

I looked into it a little more, and the Revolution S/W will allow your tuner to load up a chip or a Predator. He can even give you custom tunes for different conditions that you can load onto a PC, and you can transfer them from your PC onto your Predator.

From what I read, Diablo and Autologic chips can be tuned right now.

They are supposed to have a new device coming out in the near future that will allo the tuner to flash the PCM without a Predator

Hum....but what Omar said was true. Danny said some thing about "templates".

Not sure on the specific on the Old Autoligic Chips....

The templates are for particular cars, say an 03 Cobra or a Gen 2 Lightning, they're a baseline, and the tuner goes from there just like a chip...

The PCM code for your car is different than for my car, or for an L, or a Chibby, so a different template is needed.

If the romulator comes out soon, and it should, you won't need a chip. So be patient, nothing good comes from a trip to the dealer and they see a chip, or evidence of a chip

Life is good! ...a street tune and a track tune from the PC to the Predator...what a concept. (I need a street tune to limit me to 80mph in 6th gear) :bowdown:
