Haven’t really done too much lately. I’ve driven it around a bit and started to make preparations for the new gauge set up.

Final decision is , Dual aeroforce in a cluster pod. AFR and boost(this will change eventually) in the vent pod. Also doing the Hilton boost overlay.

Sanded down and painted the pods. Hope to find some time to install them this week so I can start the tuning process.

Received the magnum yesterday. All that I’m waiting on is the ARH long tubes and midpipe and the Harpell engine bay stuff.

What are the plans for the stock T56?
Its a shame the reverse doesn't work well because the rest of the gears shift really nicely. I plan to have it rebuilt and then sell it off.

Its interior paint, the picture does make it look like primer though!

View attachment 1868955IMO, all black looks better than color matched…
Another vote for all black with polished accents

In my opinion black does NOT work well at all. With black you cannot see the detail. Since black is the absence of light you really don't see anything.

Black is a great accent color, but to be the main color I do not think it flows well at all.

Then again I do not like black wheels or the murdered out look. So, this is just my point of view.

I hate the murdered outlook/black wheels but I prefer all black or black with some light polished accent pieces. IMO it hides a lot of the imperfections throughout the bay plus is hides dirt and grime easier.

Burnouts will really even out the flat spots :)

Haha, I don't trust the car at WOT yet. Alot of stuff needs attention first lol. With that being said, I don't think my vibrations are from the tires anymore. After about 100 miles of highway driving I think I have something else going on. Maybe some unbalanced wheels or a wheel bearing(s).

How long did it sit? My tires are flat spotted something terrible with shaking from sitting for 14 months. Even after driving it a ton. Tire are hammered, regardless.

Previous owner said 3-4 years. I plan to replace them anyway, but I'm undecided on what wheels I want to go with so I'd like to get some time out of these ones.

This is a fun follow, thanks for keeping us updated. Personally my reverse is VERY difficult most of the time, but when the engine is off it’s quite easy. Read it may just be a cable adjustment but if not, everything I read about the magnum says it totally changes the way the car drives. Let me know please.

Currently installing the gauges. I pulled the cluster to install the hilton boost overlay. All was going smoothly until I knocked the needle pin out of the gear so the gauge wouldn't reset. Pulled it completely apart to fix that. I was able to calibrate it successfully after that. Just needs to be put back in. Also decided to go ahead and replace the cluster casing and lens due to some light scratching.

Found some car audio stuff left over from the previous owner that I pulled out. In all of my cobras I don't think I've ever listened to the radio. LOL

I'm working night shift this weekend so I had a chance to polish the borla catback. It was already slightly polished so it was in pretty good shape. I still decided to do the 600-800-1000-1500-2000-3000 hand sand method and then hit with a meguires to finish it off. It came out looking like chrome!

I'll be putting all this stuff together this week and then doing alot of small stuff that I had originally planned on waiting on doing. Stuff like head lights, tail lights, 3rd brake light, all the idler pulleys and new belts. deep clean the interior.

I want to make it to the VMP meet next month so I need to get busy and get this thing tuned. I may wait until the summer time to swap in the magnum so I have time to pull the motor at the same time and have things powder coated.

wtf bro why aren’t these posted in the cobro chat we have

Looks awesome man. Not sure if you already got the gauge lens but Amazon has OEM ford ones for a great price.
