IMO, all black looks better than color matched…

As I was getting ready for the tuning process I had to install a SCT firewire. Well in typical "while your in there fashion" I decided to switch up the gauge set up. Currently the car has a screwed in dual pillar pod with a innovate AFR and a roush boost gauge. Looked terrible and I planned to switch it up anyway.

Placed an order for an AEM wideband, Dual Aero force gauges, a hilton boost overlay and a stickitdesigns overlay for the AEM wideband. Also some interior paint from LMR to get the pods to look OEM.

Kevin told me to go with the ballenger but I got a good deal on the AEM so I rolled with it.

I have a dual pod gauge mounts into the vent on the driver side that looks very similar to a SOS pod (thanks to whoever posted that on here). I also have a dual cluster bezel that I've had for a long time that I may use.

I don't really want a ton of gauges so I may do the AFR and one of the Aeroforce for now. Once I figure out what other type of gauge I need/want, I'll run the Aeroforce in the dual cluster bezel and the AFR and the unknown gauge in the vent pod.

The magnum should be here before Christmas, Things should escalate quickly once that arrives. The pile of parts I have is getting out of control LOL. Project cars are fun.

The gauge pod, is it from ebay? I ran across those just the other day and they look interesting. Id like to see one all setup

I had my local guys recover these and make the snakes about 20 or 30% bigger in my opinion they turned out great considering they came out of a junk yard in a convertible car with a busted up top, I wanted to take the mystic seats out was the reason for it.
Edit: In case you haven't already got a new seat this was another option (you local guy maybe)

I’ve wanted to go this route but people still think their torn up front seats are worth top dollar.

I basically had a junk yard buy the car for the drivetrain somewhere around 06 and the guy insisted I take the seats because he didn't want to deal with them (( said you already paid for them lol))-- put the drivetrain in a fox

I see based on your seat belt buckle you like to live dangerously. Nice.

Yep it’s off eBay. It’s 3d printed it’s really nice. The back was a bit rough so I sanded it and hit it with high build primer. It’s super clean.

Is it mounted/molded into the vent? I want to put something like my glovebox so it's tucked out of the way.

I'm struggling with the color scheme I want to do. I've always done black. Black is simple and looks really good. Especially with polished accents. But I've really been wanting to do something different. Maybe for ford blue valve covers. idk, I'll have to make a split decision when the time comes.

I like this color scheme.
This was my wifes Comp Orange before she sold it to Fastlane
Glad you were able to find something to keep you entertained.

Haven’t really done too much lately. I’ve driven it around a bit and started to make preparations for the new gauge set up.

Final decision is , Dual aeroforce in a cluster pod. AFR and boost(this will change eventually) in the vent pod. Also doing the Hilton boost overlay.

Sanded down and painted the pods. Hope to find some time to install them this week so I can start the tuning process.

Received the magnum yesterday. All that I’m waiting on is the ARH long tubes and midpipe and the Harpell engine bay stuff.
