Yeah man. Sports are out of control in my family. My boy players travel baseball, flag football and basketball right now. Thats all he wants to do and I don't want to be the one holding him back. Then on top of that, my daughter plays softball. So we are always busy.

Hoping to at least get the car right while i'm on the evening shifts so I don't have to worry about making time for it later.
I'm right there with you man, it's EVERY day between my two boys and their sports. I will do whatever I have to in order for them to have the opportunity, but it's non stop. I work, and I drive my kids to sports. I'm not exaggerating either.

Its been hard to make time for the car now that baseball season is offically in full effect in my house hold. We spend nearly every weekend at the ball fields. I'm on evening shift this week, so I've been able to get some stuff done.

Had to relocate the EMP pump futher into the wheel well. I could not mount the bumper with it located near the bumper support. This actually works much better with no crazy fittings to prevent kinks.

Ordered a Mechman 240amp per the recommendation of cobravenom01. Also did the big three kid. Ran a power cable from the Alt to the battery. A ground from the driver side motor mount to the battery and also one to the frame rail. 300A fuse for the kit.

I ordered some 465 fuel pumps to replace whatever I currently have. I figure since I'm having this fuel pressure drop issue, Id rather just make sure everything is up to snuff. Who knows how long the pumps are that are in the tank have been in there. Also got the plug and play harness from lethal ( Assuming I have the Div X hat) and some install kits for the new pump.

I currently have a full tank of gas, so I'm driving the car back and forth to work this week so I can drop the tank thursday or friday.

Track Spec hood vents. These look really good with the orange paint.

Put the bumper (new fog ligths with LED switch backs) back on now that it can clear the EMP pump and the car drives great as long as I'm not WOT. I'm also a huge fan of the current exhaust set up. At first I wasn't sure about the stingers with the prochamber, but I'll be keeping this set up for awhile. Sounds great.

So now I need to make a decision on the AHR headers and midpipe that I purchased for the car.

I'm not sure. If i do, it'll be whenever I build a motor for it. Hopefully thats way far down the line.

I'll probably end up using the ARH set up. I really like the sound of the car right now, but that could change lol.

Anything you regret about the cams in previous car vs the current car?

Cams can be annoying to drive with. I don't want to say they ruined the car for me, but they were def a pain. I couldn't find someone to tune it with good success. There way also something small driveability-wise that made it annoying to drive.

At least with a stock set up there are a ton of tuners that can knock it out.

But we'll see. I don't want to rule them out because I love the sound of a cammed cobra.

It’s been a while for me looking at 4.6 stuff but regarding cams less can be more esp for a street car.
The Ford GT cams are the same as the ‘13-14 GT500 stock cams and used to be a decent mild cam upgrade.

Yea finding a tuner will definitely make or break ya. You had the comp 106460? Were they degreed or dot to dot? The ONLY reason I'm considering cams is because my heads have to come off. I've owned cammed sbf but never a mod/coyote car. The car drives nice so I really hate to ruin it. You had

Yeah I had the 106460 and they were degreed. I liked them enough but idk, after having them put in and all the issues I had during the installation, I might just keep this one as is until its motor build time.

Its really nice to have a smooth running motor.. I jump in the Camaro that has a hog as cam and the whole car shakes. LOL. Its awesome, but not something I want to drive all the time. I think one cammed car is good enough for me.

This cobra I plan to use a a nice weather daily driver once I have all the issues ironed out. I want to get it to 200k miles.

My car has those cams - one base circle was off or something like that so just throwing em in dot to dot would have been an issue m. I don’t know if they were the problem but it gave my tuner fits on the return to idle. He got it dialed in but it took a bit

Idle was always a problem. Surging and stalling when coming to a stop. The tune was never right on it. So it was more head ache than it was worth imo. Sounded so good though

Had some time to drop the tank and replace the pumps. There were two 340lph pumps in there. When i pulled the harness off the wires slid right out of the connector on one of the pumps. Could have been my issue..

Cleaned up the tank, installed the pumps and fuel filter.

I still need to replace the relays and remove the BAP. I *should* be good to go after that.
