Do a tubular K-member, control arms and coil overs lot of weight loss there
It looks like you did the 5 lug swap on your car. did you use 95 spindles?
I did that set up but I went with 2000 Mustang calipers they are dual piston
aluminum calipers vs. the 95 cast heavy single piston ones.
You can also check into Baer-eradi speed rotors they are two piece rotors with
aluminum hat section they are supposed to be quite a bit ligther than stock rotors

Not sure what your emission laws are, but I was able to remove 7lbs by getting rid of the smog pump garbage. A few other things you can do, some I have done:

Light weight battery, like an Odyssey.
Fiberglass hood.
Remove AC components, gets rid of about 40lbs.

as stated above, lose your Ac, smog and put an electronic fan on it, thats a good 40 lbs
tubular K member and front suspension saves you about 40-50lbs
racing seats 30+lbs
rear seat delete 10-15 lbs
fiberglass hood 20-25lbs
spare tire, jack, and heavy insulation 30-40lbs
fiberglass trunk lid or hatch 20-25lbs
aluminum drive shaft and flywheel 20lbs
and if you have the cash aluminum heads will save you about 50-65lbs
in total about 270lbs of weight without stripping out the car.

guess i should have been more specific sorry lol. idk what spindles they are, 5 lug swap was done when i got the car, has mach1 front brakes though. has 347 with aluminum heads no smog no ac.has no spare tire. grease build up removed when motor when it 6k miles ago, grease under car removed when i put this last clutch in lol. we have no emissions in my town. when i weighed the car 3 months ago it weighed 3040lbs i would like to shed some more lbs just by removing some bs ford weight. next motor swap it will get a k member though. does have mechanicle fan still. i got an elec fan for it but lost the directions on how to wire it up.

Is the 3040lbs with you in it? If so, that is light, if not, that is still pretty damn good.

thats without me in it, also had a tool box in the trunk lol. also had 17x8 wheels power windows locks ect ect. i gonna weigh it again once i get it back on the road. having suspension problems at the moment though

You may love your power steering but if its not so important a manual rack would save some weight - the pump. I also have a coupe and I have lost 35 lbs myself from my gut and Im interested to see how much of a difference it will make in my 1/8 et.

You can take a lot of crap off these cars and they will still run
