Just wondering if anyone knew if it was against the law to take your car doors off. Jeeps do it. No issues with them.

I'm from massachusetts and as far as I know there is nothing wrong with driving around with no door. But what the hell would possess you to want to take your doors off?
I miss my AC but damn your taking it to a new level lol.
Only thing I can add is although the doors might not be an issue, mirrors definitely are in most states. So be careful if your side mirrors are on your doors, not sure what vehicle your doing it to.

I have the Harley D Street 750 on my mind. Wife not to gain on me buying a bike. The whole death part.
I imagine taking the doors off of your Altima isn't going to increase the crash ratings.
I don't know of any laws that says you can't take your doors off.

Ive actually seen quite a few vehicles without doors on ... beside Wranglers.
Cherokees...S-10....random cars here and there .. I always thought WTF?!?
I do have a Wrangler that I take the doors off of but thats what its made for. Hell on the Visor it says " Doors and top are NOT made to keep occupants in vehicle. ALWAYS use your seatbelt"

I work in a body shop. I drive cars with no doors all the time around the lot. I feel you.

It's my beater. Don't plan on selling it ever. I could see my self yanking the doors off in 15 years. As a fun summer car. For Sonic runs etc.
