Remote keyless entry/anti-theft system

I recently read that only the 1994 and 1995 models had the keyless entry/anti-theft system on the trucks. I've run across another guy in town with a 1993 Lightning, and I thought we could key a fob to his truck for keyless entry.

Did anyone add keyless entry to their 1993? I'm assuming that you have to install the anti-theft module under the dash like in the 94/95 trucks and can get it to work with them.

I'd like to hear your thoughts and concerns on the possibility of a key fob with '93 models.

I did a little research when my friend wanted me to install a remote start/keyless entry on his 95 F150.

From what I read, trucks with factory rke are wired differently than trucks without rke. I’m referring to how the locks and switch are wired.
