Guys,
I plan on buying a ford raptor in the very near future and want HIDs!
I want to know if it's dumb for me to buy a 2013 raptor just bc the factory HIDs when I could buy a 2010 and put some equivalent HIDs in the truck.
My concern is that the aftermarket HIDs might not be up to factory spec!
Please give me your opinion as I have 2 requests for the raptor HIDs and a smooth riding raptor!

I hear good things about Raptor Retrofit. The latest coming from Ken Block.

Just saw this site. Looks like you can get the complete factory 2013 HIDs put in your 2010 no problem.
This will save me $$$ as now I can buy a 2010

I havent looked for em but Ive seen guys on the F150 forum buying loaded OEM HID setups on ebay for around $800 and a plug and play harness is another 100-150 bucks. Ive also seen some people buy damaged housings for waaaay less (broken mounting tabs and such)

I went with aftermarket Eagle Eye Halogens and love them! They are less expensive and have had zero problems for over 2 1/2 years now. Glad I made the choice

Many different options - I went with LED headlight bulbs and haven't looked back. For under $200 and less than 10 minutes, I am now able to see well at night in my 2012 Raptor.
