I recently took my 2013 mustang Gt to the track and wasn’t too happy with the results I want to hear some opinions. To start it’s a 2013 Gt Auto, w/ JBA Lt headers high flow cats, Magnaflow exhaust, JLT caí, FTI 3800 stall converter, BMR lowers with brackets UPR adjustable upper, Cobra jet drag coil springs front and back. One piece drive shaft and 275/60/15 drag radials stock 3.15 gears. 93 octane Tuned by PBD. First pass I totally messed up second pass I went off the foot brake and it went 12.14@113 in drive then it got rained out. last pass before the tune and tq converter install I went 12.30@114 in sport mode. Also have a question what mode do you guys race/data log in drive or sport mode??

A 28" tire is too tall for your setup. You're decreasing your gear to like a 2.73 by running that height. What was your 60'? Try launching by loading it against the brakes. Rev it up as high as you can without making the tires spin.

Id say thats pretty soft. No cats, stock manifolds, 93 tuned by bama with all stock suspension I went 12.4@114.

The stock size is 27.3 so the taller tire brings your gear ratio to 3.07 which isn't enough to worry about

Looks like Da was about 1000 ft so a better time could be had in cooler weather. It was 55 but the barometric pressure was really bad at only 29.6

I ran almost 112 MPH bone stock powerwise in my 14 Gt auto.
Not even a drop in filter. You were almost 3 MPH faster than me in the 1/8 though.
Your car is pretty weak in the backhalf. What DA??

Place it in drive with the advance track off- you are about 6-7 tenths off where you should be- 60 foot should be somewhere from 1.58-1.64 with your mods and elevation. you should be 11.50 or lower and around 118-119.5 mph. I assume you are running premium fuel.

why is the car so heavy? hell my car weighs 3800-3850 with drag setup (about 4000lbs on street setup) (im a bigger guy but have k member and kirky and no rear seats, but have full cage, turbo kit etc)

i'm sure most people are posting their times with them taking out the extra stuff in their car, spare tire, no extra crap in it etc... basic weight savings..

not for nothing, that 60' wasn't that terrible, granted there's a ton of room for improvement
