This can inflate costs and make it hard to really asses the vehicles true value. When looking for my Boss I saw prices all over the place. On the low end with moderate mileage they were just north of $30K. On the high end with low miles and the LS package they were in the mid $40's. Ultimately the car I wanted to buy was being offered up at a specialty dealership for over 45K with 2400 miles. It was pretty much brand new with all of the extras still in unopened boxes. It also included a voucher for Trackey. I loved the car and told them if they would give me any price under 40K it was a deal. They called me two days later and I got the car for $39.9 Ha! To me it was worth it. I had seen non LS Boss' going for the same price. I was also coming off of a quest for a new GT350, which was putting me around $70-$80K. So it kind of seemed like a steal! Ultimately getting the exact car you want, color and options will dictate how much you are willing to pay. I think that if you get exactly what you want, it is worth it to pay a premium. That being said, if you are not too picky and are patient you will eventually find a deal and can save some money. I am demanding and impatient, so rarely get a good deal. I can tell you this, if you get a Boss you will be happy, and the money will seem well spent. It really is an amazing car. I highly recommend the Laguna Seca if it is something you are interested in. You couldn't build a better car for the extra money it costs. Good luck and keep us posted on your pursuit!

[QUOTE="CobraKai, post: 15512004, member: 20480"] This is a really hard question to answer because of all of the factors involved. Because it is a niche car people get passionate about it and that goes both ways. Owners feel that the cars are worth more than they really are and often buyers will pay more than the car is worth because of the perception that it is special.
