No, people tend to say it died with Pac and Big but it hasnt.

Look up artists like Ill Bill,Apathy,Necro,Mr.Hyde,Aesop Rock,Brother Ali and you'll see it's still alive.

Slaughterhouse is pretty damn good. Joe Ortiza, Joe budden,Royce Da 5'9 and everyone most def came together and made a damn good group. This ring tone and get at a bitch rap is weak as hell. club i work in we get so many people asking for garbage ass lil wayne. I never liked him...and never will. About 1 bar out of out 10 he spits is decent...thats IT.The new Alchemist is pretty damn good too. Theres very little NEW rap i listen to these days. Lacoka Nostra is also something rap fan should look into....
