Switzerland is beautiful. A young friend of ours from Switzerland is arriving here Saturday with her boyfriend to stay with us for 2 weeks. We were supposed to visit her and her parents in Switzerland later this year but she wanted to come here sooner. The pictures and videos she has shared with us over the last few years are amazing. A beautiful and very safe country. Hopefully we'll maybe get there next year, Lord willing.

I get a few in my neck of the woods, the Ravens try to "escort" them out of the no fly zone! Haha!

I was watching an Eagle circle the lake yesterday and it looked like he was hunting for a fish to snatch. Since moving to where I am now, I'm enjoying the wide array of wildlife. We get Deer in the yard, coyotes, Eagles, Cranes, and all kinds of other birds, but my favorite is the river otter that has been coming around. It's come up on the property a few times and is massive! Didn't realize we had them that big in the PNW but we estimate it's got to be close to 4ft in length.

Right on! You're down by JBLM right?

Last year a black bear side-swiped my Cherokee on the way to work! He was running away from me in the opposite lane, heard me coming and decided the best course of action was to go into the noise. Ended up bouncing off the side of my rear tire. Tumbled a few then got up and scampered off! We were both surprised to say the least. Haha

Yeah, we're in Tenino now so backside of JBLM I believe? We have tank ranges not too far away, and supposedly we're near Salma Hayek's place where she's in that cult is somewhere nearby as well lol. Haven't seen any bears yet but it's definitely bear territory.

Saw two dudes unloading this from their truck by my dumpster at work. They said it was their Dad's and they don't have room for it. They said they thought it was from the 1940's. I think it's awesome. I'll never use it and it'll just be in the way but I hate the thought of it being recycled.
