It’s a C40-8, we call them “dash eights.”

It’s a six axle diesel electric built by GE. Got about 4,000 HP. That loco is probably 40 years old and not worth the new paint job lol.

Those are Genesee & Wyoming colors. That’s the company that just bought out my railroad. Well CSX bought us but they run it. They’re a good outfit.

We have a local one almost exactly like that, its a similar orange and has a single brown shit stripe down the middle. I suppose a Browns fan owns it, still looks like shit either way.

it actually looks...less awful... than that the raw stainless or black ones I keep seeing but at the end of the day it's still like comparing piles of dog shit
