This is sort of a follow up from this thread started by @TP03 in regards to the Radium fuel pulse damper. Mine arrived in the mail today and I got it installed. I'm a firm believer that automakers (usually) don't spend money installing unneeded parts so I've been looking for something like this damper since I removed mine when swapping to -8 fuel line.

I was really unsure if it would fit in the limited space on the end of my billet fuel rail but it does! It looks great and well made. The "head" with the vacuum port does not swivel but thankfully mine was clocked perfectly out of the box. I'm guessing you can take the unit apart and rotate head as needed but I'd talk to Radium first about that.

Anyways, I haven't driven the car yet so there's no good/bad to report. I don't think it will make a huge difference but will update later if I notice any improvements. On to the pics!

The damper is very small! I bought mine with the -8AN O-ring fitting.

Installed on the drivers side fuel rail. It's extremely close to the crossover and one of the manifold bolts underneath but it clears!. I had to unbolt and lift the fuel rail a bit to install the damper and then lower the rail back down.

And for those interested, this is how you make custom vacuum lines. I had an unused port on the back of the blower so I decided to use that rather than "T" into the FFRPS hose.

Insert mechanics wire into the plastic vacuum line (bought it on amazon) and bend it into the desired shape. Heat the bent sections with a heat gun until it's good and hot and then cool it off with water. Once you have the desired shape, pull the wire out.

I'm still returnless. Occasionally I get some bad behavior when banging the gears hard at redline and fuel pressure bounces all over the place in the datalogs when going in and out of WOT quickly.

Looks good. Glad you were able to make it fit on the front of the rail. Hope the damper works as well for you.
