Radiator and intercooler fluid?

i was going to chagne radiator fluid today but I ran into a puzzler - should the fluid for the rad and intercooler be the same color?

My radiator fluid is gold, but my intercooler fluid is red? I thought Ford only used gold or green antifreeze :shrug:

both of mine have gold...dont know how much that helps you lol..

Gold is 100K change and green is 50K change if i remember right. Obviously gold is the better fluid to put in, you can get it from a dealer. Other extended life coolants are red in color like Caterpillar's. I would assume its extended life coolant like the gold stuff.
