I've had a few DRs in the rear, hook nice but dont like the feel in the corners. Not to mention rain. Run R888/R88R (same tire different tread) exclusively on all four now. Wont go back, a DR gives marginal improvement from a dig (over R888) if you're running a Hoosier or ET but 888 make the car wake up all around. Putting down 720HP on a bad day and R888 are terrifying in a good way. Went to make a left at a double turn lane decided I want to put a little space before the next light. Other cars still turning through the intersection... I was at the next light. I'll never go back to a DR for street driving. If you're not drag racing I say pay the money. Otherwise just buy a slick. Pullied Cobra you'll be able to slip first and hook 2nd. I have an adjustable rear sway bar so have it pretty dialed in to be neutral so much more confident in turns with the 888. I've run summers up front and DR in the back, cant power out of the understeer. Depends how had you push it but at the limits a balanced car with balance grip is a whole different thing. My girl has a 600hp STI so I like to keep my car balanced so I dont feel like bitch on the back roads.
