He was great. I'll aways remember him for one of my favorite scenes of all time in "True Romance".
i wonder if he ever got his gold digging ex wife out of his house. last i heard she had barricaded herself in his house because he was gonna cut her out of his will.

That sucks. I saw that headline when I signed onto my email account. Dennis Hopper was an amazing actor. The first movie I saw him in was Apocalypse Now.
He had a part in True Grit? Never realized he was that old. RIP
RIP Dennis Hopper...I'm gonna go watch Speed now! :rockon: I'm only 24 so that's the earliest movie I remember watching with him in it.

Adam, I'd think you've have seen him way before that, just didn't know who he was. Forgetting Easy Rider, he played in lots of westerns and stuff, in character roles, not leads, I'm sure you've seen him before Apocalypse. I think he was also on a bunch of 60' TV series as well.
This is sad news. I've always liked him as an actor. He was awesome in Easy Rider. Very sad.
