Hi guys & gals,

Quick question about the pulley bolt on a KB. Is this a right hand thread, lefty loosy, righty tighty bolt? I want to be sure before i go beating on it.

and secondly, Is there any other way to remove the pulley without the use of the pulley remover tool.

Thanks in advance

crank it to the left to loosen it bud. I guess it depends on how tight the bolt is in there. It's supposed to be torqued to 75lb-ft,so I would only use the correct tool. Don't use a pipe wrench, and a rag.....:-D also the bolt is a 10 mm allen

^^
Thanks.
But check it out, I managed to get the pulley off with out the tool..

All it took was the "boa contsrictor" tool ($10) from Canadian tire and a breaker bar w/ the 10mm allen socket. Now I don't have to buy the special tool.
