I had been really wanting to hear what my car sounded like under WOT after my build had finished up...so an opportunity arose when my brother (M3) and a friend (Camaro you see in the very beginning) were on a small cruise around town.

They both started in 2nd while I started it 3rd and didn't really get into full boost until the M3 got to my door. I hammer kicked into 4th and got what I wanted....a good WOT pull and a shift with the Go-Pro.

Exhaust setup is MAC 1 7/8 LT, O/R X paired with a Magnaflow Catback.
The build is nothing crazy, stock rod and crank with a set of slightly lower compression (~8:2.1) Diamond pistons. A valve job was done as well.

Enjoy!

A small NA 6cyl doesn't stand a chance on a hwy roll against a SC V8....good kill but very expected . I love both of those cars, they are truly timeless machines

Sounds sick. Mac makes 1 7/8" headers? I thought they only made 1 5/8". You still have the eaton on it?

Thanks guys! I knew I would pull the M3, as did he. We just ran to see because I wanted a listen as to what my car sounded like with the longtubes. That car has surprised a few bigger V8s itself though!

Thanks man! I was full of typos when I made this thread:bash: Haha. But yes, they are 1 5/8s. Yeah, unfortunately. I'm only running a 2.8' upper only right now...made 440rrwhp/460rwtq. Been good for a whopping 11.5 psi lol It will shine when it sees more boost and E85.

3rd to 4th like a boss.

Sounded good, what's the clutch setup? FW adjuster+quadrant etc?

Thank you sir. I'm running a Mcleod steel FW and RST clutch with a Fiore quadrant adjuster. I had a hell of a time adjusting the RST to even get it to work properly for a while. But I think I finally found it's sweet spot.

Full exhaust, not sure what brand header but he's running a Super Sprint race-catted midpipe with a Super Sprint muffler. He also has a tune from ESS tuning as well, so I suppose not "full bolt-ons" but most of what you can do without FI or opening the motor up. He made 286rwhp and about the same torque if i remember correctly.

SS stepped headers also?
