Help, please
1] Does the mod actually do anything? Cooler running, better gas milage, better sound, more power?

2] What about rain? Unfortunately, my vert is a dailly driver and will see rain and even mud (I'm a contractor and often go to construction sites), although I will park it in November so it won't see snow. With the vents open and flaps removed, won't there be a lot of water flowing into the engine compartment? Even if you don't take it out in rain, what about washing the car?

Thanks in advance

I use a sheet of Saran Wrap and a towel to cover the hole, while washing. It has yet to see rain.

If you don't to the mod, water will run right through the stock baffled vent and soak the outside corners of your blanket slit and ruin the blanket. The only water that got through my hood vents was the delivery car wash by the dealership :bash: Made flattened golf ball sized bulges in the blanket...
