I bought my Daily Driver with powder coated wheels. They are polished underneath and it's starting to show through in a few areas. I saw a car just like mine last week with the polished wheels and liked it, so I'm thinking of removing the PC and going back to polished wheels. I don't have another set of wheels to swap out while I do this. I've read that carb cleaner, aircraft cleaner, gasket remover, and oven cleaner will work for removing PC(just one, not mixing them all together). One: Is any of this true? Two: Would it eat through my tires? I'd be doing this with the rubber still on. Any tips would be appreciated, thanks.
