question??

I want to go with nitto drag radials but im wondering if the 275/40r/17 are the same with or a little bigger than the factory tires. i know peaple do the 315 thing but i was just wondering they are the same with.

i have a 04 cobra with factory rims.

i tried to search but it was no help at all.

not sure what the tire specs are on a stock cobrs but a 275 will fit fine on it.

all i was asking if the tire was a little wider and a bigger contact patch on the ground but i figured it out.

a 315 will fit might have a tail pipe rub though
