I was wondering if anybody was running a wire mesh/screen instead of an air filter? On the some of the twin kits the turbos sit right behind the bumper, any pros and cons to doing this whether it be a track car or street car?

What do yall think?

the only time I would run a mesh screen is at the track. other than that I would have a filter on it. but personally, I will just run filters

i could see the mesh screen at the track but for DD use i think i would be a little nervous with the mesh screen.

i was at a speedshop couple weeks ago, there was a 700rwhp supra there and it had a mesh screen on the inlet of the turbo. I asked one of the shop guys if that was a good idea... his answer didn't seem to convincing...lol supra was nice tho had a 5" exhaust straight to the muffler and was loud as shit at idle.

this site sells the mesh filters
