What is the widest tire size I can safely run out back on my stock 18x8.5 stock rim

According to our information the factory 18-inch wheels are 8-inches wide with a +45mm offset. The widest tires you can safely fit on this rim width while maintaining close too the factory rolling diameter are 265/45R-18 and 255/45R-18.

Selection is bleak in the 265/45R-18 sizing, but the 255/45R-18 sizing offers a decent selection depending on what you're looking for your tires to deliver.
