I am in the process of installing my Mantic clutch and am struggling with understanding where the tob should be in relation to the fingers on the pressure plate with the cable off. With my cable off I have a ton of space between the tob and the pressure plate. Does this mean I need to pull it back off and make the pivot ball longer? I am switching from an RST to the Mantic and was previously using the stock pivot ball but do have the adjustable McLeod piece available for install as well. Please let me know as I appear to be stuck at the moment

You def should have some space, but maybe not "a ton".

Try to have the fork in the middle of the window when it just touches the fingers.
