Put some LEDs in the Dome/MAP

I purchased some LEDs from Superbrightleds.com and they are the 4211-x6 LED Festoon bulbs to replace the dome light and 2 map lights on either side. They fit well length wise in the festoon socket, however they spin quite easily, possibly not making a full tight connection. Once I put them in and turned them on, they flicker if not in the right position and I'm sure they will flicker when driving over bumps.

Do you think I should pull the bulbs out and try to close the festoon socket a tad so they have a tighter fit?

It's not terrible, but no more expensive then they are, I believe I'd switch to white.
