The website says, Satin S-styled mufflers and based from the XR-1 multi-core race series mufflers. Also, I've already looked inside the mufflers and there are 4 cores. The S-Types have just 1 core. IMO your drone issues are more than likely from running an off-road X pipe. You may want to consider running high-flow cats along with either a ProChamber or H pipe. And yes, you're absolutely spot on about the S-types, as they will indeed drone with any off-road mid-pipe. And unfortunately, they also drone with the stock catted mid-pipe, as I did try switching back. All that did, was just dampen the drone a bit but was still very noticeable and I also lost quite a bit of sound volume in the process as well, so I ended up switching back to the off-road ProChamber. I haven't installed the new exhaust yet, because I'm not sure if the Borla 140210 multi-core cat-back system is compatible for a 4.6L supercharged 3 valve. It was designed and tuned for the 2007-09 Shelby GT500 5.4L supercharged 4-valve. The ProChamber, according to Mac Performance is designed to help reduce drone. Therefore I don't think its the ProChamber that's causing the drone. it's definitely the Borla Stingers. I also read a post from a member on this site who has the 'cut n clamp" ProChamber paired with the Ford Performance FR500S KR axle backs and stock cats who claims to have zero drone.
