Pulling Intake, any freebie/cheap mods?

Hey guys, I am pulling my intake tomm so that I can inspect the IMRC controller to see if that is whats causing my problems. CHECK THIS THREAD FOR PROBLEMS

Anything I can do while i am in there (other than cleaning the crap out of the intake and upper parts of intake valves that may help out any??

I have also been considering throwing on a few coats of Ford Blue paint onto the strut tower brace. Does anyone have pics of painted STB's???

Honestly, I wouldn't paint the STB blue......especially on a Mystic or any other color for that matter:nono:

it was just a thought i had... now that i have thought about it more and more, if i did anything it would be touching up the bolts that hold it on with some flat black or something.
