It has been a while since I updated my original build thread and so much has changed since this all kind of kicked off. I figured it was best to just start a new thread as this build will not change from what it is going to be now.

Here is my 02 GT the day I bought it, 22.5k miles on it and stock except for a catback and neons.

Here is after my first round of mods. Eibach Pro System Plus, 18" Bullitt Wheels, MAC CAI, Simco Gauges, stereo upgrade, Pro 5.0 shifter

This is after a few more changes, Steeda 18' Ultralites, tint, Mach 1 Lip and Grille Delete and for the most part, where the car ended up (minus spoiler delete) before the rebuild began.

So, some progress I have made over the time I have had to do some work is the removal of the stock sound deadening material and replacement of new stuff. I used Boom Mat and Noico Liner. When I removed the old stuff I wire wheeled the metal, primered, and repainted the metal to make a good surface.

I mounted the crossovers for the Morels after I had put Noico Liner on the doors. I also ran all new wiring through the car for the stereo and ditched the factory stereo wiring throughout.

Initially the plan was a built engine with a Vortech setup and then I was working on on a 03-04 swap.

Lots of changes have happened since I parked this car for a few upgrades. This thing really snowballed.

awesome. what are ur power expectations?

I know that pretty much every Gen 2 TVS on stock bottom end is making right around 600hp & 550 lb/ft @20lbs. I'm going to try the 15lb pulley out of the gate and drop to the 13lb pulley if it is too close to the edge on 93.

My setup should be 9.73:1 with worked heads, cams, full exhaust. I'd imagine near 600 &550.

awesome. sounds like a beast!

I know it will make enough power for me to be happy with it for what I want the car to be. I am throwing the Vortech setup I was going to use in this car in my 01 Cobra but most likely ditch the V1 Si in favor of a V7 JT-B.

Well, decided to end up keeping this simple and made a few changes again.

Decided to have a little fun, do something a little different, and simplify.

Bought a Tork Tech Kit, TFS 44cc Heads, and Diamond Pistons. Selling my Terminator Swap stuff.

Anyway, this showed up yesterday.

Your car is going to be a beast! Are you by chance doing anything with your stock parts? I picked up a 00 GT a few weeks ago and trying to make it road worthy again. I have a buddy in Smyrna and I try to visit when possible, so I'm that way ever so often. I'm about 2.5 hours west of Nashville.
