Has anyone heard about the new procharger variable ratio centrifugal supercharger? It's called the i-1 and has an electronic controller that lets you switch between ratios (and boost levels).
From the animation, it looks like it's a CVT type design, but I can't be sure.
I've been wondering why manufacturers haven't introduced CVT type centrifugal superchargers sooner.
