Problems with intake tube coming off

My intake tube keeps slipping off of the throttle body from time to time. It has happened several times. I re-attach it and tighten down the clamp and it seems to go on somewhat tight. However, it keeps happening.

What do I need to do to keep it on? Different clamp? New intake tube?

Help :)

When mine was stock, it would tend to do that same thing from time to time. Before I had PCV filters/catch cans, it seemed like the oil that gets sucked into the intake would love to hang around that flimsy rubber that the clamp holds onto.

I'd suggest taking that part of the intake off and throughly clean all the mating surfaces with some intake/brake parts cleaner. I mean the hard plastic, rubber and tb points.

Personally, I'd say get a new intake system. :p

t-bolt will help greatly, clean both surfaces with alcohol(or anything that removes all of the oil). Do not touch after cleaning, just the oil from your skin is enough to let it slip off.
