Just started smelling coolant real strong this morning and found that its coming from the firewall on the passenger side. Not coming from a hose, could this be my heater core??

Sure sounds like it.Any cooling mods?
Was actually going to ask the same thing. Some of the cheaper head cooling mods can melt at the joints. Also some head cooling mods I have heard can cause strain on the heater core because of the extra coolant pressure and tempuratures.

Looks like a hose may have came off, but I cant get under there right now. Turned the heater on and the leak stopped, didnt blow hot air though???
Oh, and no cooling mods...filter and exhaust, the rest is stock
God help you if it is the HC, which it certainly sounds like. Here's hoping it is something much simpler.

that makes me think that it is gonna cost me, cause i started diggin in to it today and it doesn't look like an easy job
