Just out of curiosity, what is your capacity in the "we"?

I don't know how to quantify that...LOL. I'm there everyday and help make decisions and will hopefully retire from it..haha. The employees work for me as well as the rest of the family. It is a family venture involving my Mom, brothers and myself. In short, we own it.

Lmao. Sounds like we have similar jobs. I can't describe it either, though I haven't retired yet. Lol.

Luckily we have been able to avoid taking on investors. Things move a little slower due to tighter budgets, but it is coming together.

I was just curious if I could source room rates from you haha

I love properties like that. One of our favorites is the Greenbrier in that area.

Nice HISSMEN! Smart move. So many people like to get away to WVA. Weddings are big revenue generators. Here's to you pulling it off!

Thanks! We have a wedding venue already that does 2 to 3 weddings a week. We can probably do about 12 a week based on the calls we get. So, this will help with that overflow. The current venue/restaurant/pub is only 5 minutes down the road. Milton, WV will be a one stop shop for everything. We will also be able to fully outfit the bride and groom from the Resort, as it will also have a Bridal boutique, etc.

This is the other venue. The Venetian Estate.

Thanks, We just adjusted some designs on the plans and I can't recall how many rooms that effected. But iirc it is around 208 in the main structure. The Colosseum will also have apartments, as well as hotel rooms built into it. When it is all done, in about 5 years we should have around 600 total hotel units. Then we can register as a casino....All bets are off at that point. Maybe even sooner depending on our state legislators and lobbies. Right now the magic number is 600.

No doubt. We slowed down a lot during the lockdown. Then the materials price almost doubled overnight, so we slowed down again. Now we are just getting back to about 80% work flow.

Awesome. I was going to ask about a casino. Reminds me of west baden/French lick here in Indiana.

Very nice work! Are the greens and tee boxes synthetic turf? I worked at a 9 hole par 3 course that had them. They are super fast, but great practice for higher end courses with fast greens. Can’t wait to come check you guys out when you are finished!

Yes. They are a new product from Synlawn. I'll be honest, I was shocked at how the ball plays just like it does on a real green. Even with a line drive the ball will sit down quick just like on grass. It really is unbelievable.
