I've only done it on LS motors. I can't speak for Ford modulars, ect. I do know that on my TVS2300 setup the IAT sensor was under the intake manifold after the intercooler. For tuning, it was a great location. The only time it is not a great spot is when it dies and you have to remove all that shit to change it. Did that once . . . LOL.
