the girlfriend is getting a 1967 mustang coupe on friday, it has a built 74 maverick block and no power steering

anyone know if the power steering from my 89 fox coupe with XXX block will work on her 67 coupe?

if not where do i get the parts for power steering for her? trying to go as low budget on this as possible

thanks guys!

no I would not use the 89 Fox power steering. It would be such a patched together piece of junk that probably wont work right. If you google "classic mustang power steering conversion kit" you will have a lot of options pull up. for about 1k you can get a brand new oem style power steering kit or you can get a rack and pinion kit for around 1500 bucks. If you look around you should be able to find either of the kits used for quite a bit less money. I will suggest that you get the rack and pinion kit as it feels a whole lot more stable when driving than the OEM style kit.

Edit: Ebay will probably be your best option for a used kit to keep your budget low.
